With just under six months until The Sign Show opens its doors for the very first time, some exhibitors have begun to offer a sneak peak into what visitors can expect from them at this year’s inaugural event.
China Print Supplies was one of the first companies to sign up to exhibit, with the aim of building on an extremely successful debut at sister event The Print Show last year.
At The Print Show 2024, China Print Supplies was able to connect with visitors from all areas of the market, showcasing how its solutions can help their businesses diversify and grow. In total, China Print Supplies took orders for six machines from five companies.
“It’s usually a bit difficult to say exactly where sales and leads came from with marketing on multiple platforms,” managing director Scott Clutton explained. “However, as we are a new company and nobody had seen us before, we can confidently say we have sold six units to five customers as a direct result of coming to The Print Show.”
Those who placed orders after meeting with the company at the show include Love Ur Print, which invested in a SinoColor Hybrid UV Printer HUV2000s. Evav Limited, meanwhile, took on an FB-2513S UV flatbed printer.
Event Engineering opted for a double purchase of an FB-2513s flatbed device and UR3200 3.2m-wide roll-to-roll machine. In addition, Customised For You selected an FB-1612s flatbed printer, while another customer purchased a small flatbed solution.
Diversified Audience
While 2024 was the first year at the show for China Print Supplies, Scott is something of a veteran, having exhibited with other companies over the years. Scott said it was this prior experience that made him confident attending with China Print Supplies.
“We know we have to get our products in front of people so they can see the quality for themselves and see what we see in the products,” he said. “Having exhibited before with other companies, I knew how good the show was for just this purpose.”
Like anyone who exhibits this year, China Print Supplies will benefit from a wider range of visitors than ever. The Print Show will be co-located for the first time with brand new sister event. The Sign Show, with both taking place inside Hall 3 of the NEC.
China Print Supplies will be based in The Sign Show for the 2025, though visitors to both events will have the opportunity to speak with the team and learn more about its wide range of print solutions.
With this in mind, the company has opted for a much larger stand, with this covering an area around three times the size of the 2024 stand. Scott said this will allow it to show off more machines – one of which will be displayed in the UK for the first time.
“Highlights include our FB-0906s 900 x 600mm compact flatbed and FB-2513s UV flatbed,” he said. “We’ll also be showing a brand new product, with details on this coming shortly.”
