Leading direct-to-film (DTF) solutions provider Resolute DTG has welcomed the addition of The Sign Show to the industry’s calendar, saying the event is the “perfect” accompaniment for The Print Show.
Co-located with The Print Show the all-new The Sign Show will focus on the UK sign-making market, providing an insight into new developments and stand-out trends to those who attend.
Resolute DTG recently confirmed its return to The Print Show in 2025, where it will be able to take advantage of an expanded visitor base thank to the introduction of The Sign Show.
As a company seeking opportunities in both the print and signage markets, Colin Marsh, global R&D director at Resolute DTG, said the new show will allow the business to connect with more people about its latest solutions.
“The Sign Show will be perfect as we will be launching new equipment in 2025 to go hand in hand with our new range of CNC cutter and DTF printers,” Marsh said. “The sign industry is a market we are keen to have a presence in so the timing could not be more perfect.”
As for The Print Show 2024, Marsh said Resolute DTG had a successful event. Highlights at the show included the launch of a new CNC, which is outside its normal line of equipment, but drew plenty of interest from that diverse crowd at the NEC.
“The wide range of businesses that attend The Print Show meant it got plenty of attention and generated multiple sales,” Marsh said. “This was incredible as it was the first showing and has kicked its future off to a good start.
“Sales this year were up. While we felt that this was mainly helped by the launch of the new CNC cutter, in general we had an overall increase of leads and sales over 2023. We always attract a good number of visitors on our stand and the extra floor space this year made all the difference.”
